FAQ: WHAT IS A CONTOUR AND DETAIL SITE SURVEY?

Detailed site surveys are a basic requirement when building. The purpose of a site survey is to specify the features located on the land and adjacent to the properties and are carried out by a Qualified Land Surveyor

 

The details of the Detail site survey are required for the architects and planners. Some of the Features obtained in a contour and detail site survey are:

  • Location and levels of existing and adjoining houses/structures
  • Retaining walls, changes of grade, onto adjoining sites
  • Detail of significant trees on the site
  • Spot levels and contours over the site

  • Levels & contours retailed to the Australian Height Datum (AHD)
